Rework is corrective handling performed when freight is shifted, damaged, rejected, overweight on axles, or not compliant with receiver or transport requirements. Instead of sending loads back to the shipper, FREITTY fixes the issue at or near our hub so you can salvage the delivery, avoid chargebacks, and reduce accessorials.

Every job runs on the Freitty Ops Platform with Platform-Guided Workflow Gates. From check-in to release, we capture time-stamped photo proof (before/after with GPS & timestamps), counts, labels, and POD (where available), creating a verifiable digital chain-of-custody.
Rebuilding shifted, leaning, or collapsed pallets into stable, compliant unit loads. Includes restacking cartons, correcting overhang, and re-securing freight to meet receiver and carrier requirements.
Building pallets from floor-loaded or loose freight according to your specs (height, weight, pattern). Includes arranging cases, adding slip-sheets/tiers where needed, and preparing loads for safe handling and transport.
Removing freight from existing pallets and preparing it as floor-loaded, loose, or mixed configurations (for example, for cube optimization, special handling, or equipment change).
Applying new stretch-wrap to stabilize loads, replacing damaged wrap, and adding corner boards or top sheets where required to protect product and improve load integrity.
Taking freight from one or more pallets and splitting it into several smaller pallets or unit loads (for example, from one tall pallet into two or three lower pallets), or redistributing volume between pallets to reach safer, more manageable builds.
Replacing missing or damaged labels and applying new ones according to receiver or retailer requirements (PO, stop, store, route, etc.), helping prevent refusals due to labeling issues.

We operate on SLA 15/30/60 from check-in (target 15-minute dispatch, dock ≈30 minutes, work start within 60). Most standard jobs finish in 30–90 minutes depending on scope and freight. More complex work (floor-loads, high split counts, relabeling) can take several hours. Walk-ins are accepted when capacity allows; to secure a start, book one of 8 three-hour windows (local time) with a cutoff of at least 60 minutes before window end.

A BOL, any receiver/compliance instructions, load notes, and photos if available. At check-in we record seals and initial condition via Workflow Gates. If we must break the seal, we can re- seal and record the new seal number in the job file.

Our core services are pallet restacking, palletizing, de-palletizing, shrink-wrap/re-wrapping, label replacement/relabeling, and pallet splitting/rebuilds. We can also isolate damaged units, re-pack partials, and verify counts as part of these jobs. Availability is location- specific—see the Location Card.

Yes—on the dock or in-trailer when space and safety allow. We re-stack, re-secure, isolate damages, and adjust distribution within equipment limits. If an axle or gross weight issue cannot be solved by redistribution, we can offload freight to short-term storage or coordinate a second truck (see Overweight Correction for details).

Temperature-controlled rework/transfer is available only where listed (via reefer trailers or designated cold areas). High-value freight is handled with an enhanced digital chain-of-custody. Hazmat is not handled unless a site explicitly lists it. Always check the Location Card.

Yes. We can stage or store freight short-term and later reload it or arrange secondary delivery. Chain-of-custody is preserved via Workflow Gates and the digital photo log. Long-term storage is available only where listed.

Pricing depends on the product type, the complexity of the issue, and the scope of work required (repositioning, offload, re-stack, securement, etc.). All costs are confirmed and approved before any work begins — never after the fact.

Hours and capabilities vary by facility. Some hubs offer extended or 24/7 coverage; others operate standard business hours with after-hours by arrangement. Always check the location card for each site’s schedule, supported services/equipment, and any special requirements.
