Pallet Splitting & Rebuilds is the process of taking freight from one or more inbound pallets and redistributing it into multiple, smaller pallets or unit loads. This is often required for store or route waves, height/weight limits, or receiver-specific pallet specs.
Instead of reworking freight at the receiver’s dock, FREITTY performs this work at or near our hubs. Can you print and apply labels for each new pallet?
Yes—at most hubs we can print and apply pallet labels per your template. Supplies (labels, ribbons, wrap, corner boards, pallets) are pre-approved and billed separately.

How many splits can you handle from one pallet or load?
From two simple splits to complex multi-store or multi-route waves. Capacity depends on real-time space/equipment and the complexity of your rules; we confirm feasibility and timing at booking.

Can you repack partial cases or rebuild mixed-SKU pallets?
Yes—where safe and within scope, we restack or lightly repack to meet height/weight limits and basic planogram requirements. High-touch case- pick/fulfillment is not offered unless explicitly listed on the Location Card.

Can pallet splitting be performed inside the trailer?
When space and safety allow—yes. Otherwise, we perform the work on the dock per on-site safety rules.

What documentation will I receive?
A digital job file on the Freitty Platform with time-stamped before/after photos (GPS & timestamps), updated labels/count sheets, revised BOL(s), and ePOD where available.

Are materials included in the price?
Customer-supplied materials are welcome. When we provide pallets, wrap, bands, corner boards, labels, or other supplies, they are pre-approved and billed as separate line items.

How is pricing calculated?
By handling effort (time/per-pallet/per-CWT), complexity of split rules, materials used, after-hours work, and any accessorials. You see an itemized quote before work begins.

Can pallet splitting be combined with other services?
Yes—commonly with restack, palletizing/de-palletizing, shrink-wrap, label replacement, cross-dock, Reloading/Transload, short-term storage, or Hub-to-Hub transport in the same order.
