What Is Palletizing?
Palletizing is the process of converting floor-loaded or loose freight into palletized unit loads that are safe to handle, compliant with receiver requirements, and ready for transport.
Instead of simply stacking cases “until it fits,” FREITTY builds pallets according to your rules: height and weight caps, tie-high patterns, label placement, and wrap standards. This reduces damage, speeds dock handling, and helps prevent refusals or chargebacks at receivers.

Do you supply pallets and wrapping materials?
Yes at most hubs. Supplies (pallets, wrap, banding, corner boards, slip-sheets, top sheets, etc.) require pre-approval and are billed separately. You can also provide your own materials.

Can you palletize floor-loaded containers or trailers?
Yes—this is one of our most common jobs. We unload, count and verify, build to spec, and photo-document each step for a clear digital audit trail.

Do you handle oversized or heavy items?
Yes, where safe and within equipment limits. We use reinforced builds, blocking/bracing, and banding as needed. Please share dimensions and weights with your request so we can confirm capabilities at the chosen hub.

Can you meet specific receiver requirements (height/weight/tie-high)?
Yes. We follow your instructions and receiver guides, including height caps, weight limits, tie- high patterns, wrap layers, corner boards, and label placement. Final acceptance always remains the receiver’s decision.

Can palletizing be performed inside the trailer?
Where space and safety allow—yes. Otherwise, we unload to the dock and palletize per on-site safety rules. The method is chosen by the on-site supervisor.

How is pricing calculated?
By pallet count and build complexity (floor-load vs simple rebuilds), materials used, after-hours, and other accessorials. You see an itemized quote before work begins.

Do you support temperature-controlled product?
Where listed, yes—via refrigerated trailers or designated cold areas. Long-term cold storage is not offered unless a site explicitly lists it; check the Location Card.

Can you stage or store pallets after palletizing?
Yes—short-term storage is available at select hubs with preserved chain-of-custody and photo proof. Onward delivery (Local P&D or Hub-to-Hub) can be arranged as an integrated service.
