Shrink-Wrap / Re-Wrapping is corrective stabilization for pallets and unit loads with damaged or insufficient wrap. FREITTY removes loose film, straightens and secures the load, applies new industrial wrap, and adds corner boards or top sheets when needed to restore a delivery-ready condition.
All work runs through the Freitty Ops Platform with photo documentation, workflow gates, and a verifiable digital chain-of-custody.
Digital Workflow Gates guide the process: Inspect → Stabilize → Wrap → Verify. Each step enforces counts and mandatory photos for repeatable, data-verified quality.
If pallets must be removed from the trailer, we can stage or store them short-term while you coordinate the next move; the digital chain-of-custody is preserved.
We use professional stretch film (standard or heavy-duty as needed). Corner boards, top sheets, pallets, and other materials are available by pre-approval and billed separately.
Time-stamped before/after photos (with GPS & timestamps), plus any requested labels/count sheets, live in a digital job file on the Freitty Ops Platform; ePOD where available.

Pallets arrive with damaged film, loose layers, or no wrap at all, increasing the risk of collapse or rejection.

Standard pallets, tall pallets, mixed-SKU pallets, partials, and rebuilt pallets following restack or pallet splits.
Hazmat
Hazmat is not handled unless explicitly listed for a site. Temperature-controlled products are supported only where reefer transfer/staging or cold zones are listed on the Location Card. Long-term cold storage is not offered unless explicitly listed.

Use Shrink-Wrap / Re-Wrapping when the main issue is wrap or stabilization (torn film, loose layers, leaning pallets) and the freight itself is otherwise compliant. If pallets must be rebuilt, relabeled, or split, Shrink-Wrap is usually combined with other Rework services.

We can rewrap temperature-controlled freight only while it remains inside a powered reefer trailer. Cold rooms and long-term cold storage are not included in the rewrap service unless listed on the Location Card.
