Pickup & Delivery (P&D) is the local or metro movement of freight, covering first-mile pickups and final-mile deliveries. This service seamlessly integrates with FREITTY’s warehousing solutions (cross-dock, storage, rework), providing end-to-end logistics control.
All movements are managed using Platform-Guided Workflow Gates, capturing time-stamped photo proof and ePOD (where available) to ensure a verifiable digital chain-of-custody.

What service area do you cover?
Local/metro P&D radiuses are site-specific. See each hub’s Location Card for primary zones and any extended coverage.

What equipment can you provide?
Cargo vans/sprinters; box trucks (with/without liftgate & pallet jack); semi tractors (day cab and sleeper) with 28–53' dry van/reefer trailers; and select open-deck (flatbed/step-deck) options. Availability varies by location. Any special equipment/supplies (e.g., liftgate rental, straps, blankets) are pre-approved and billed separately.

Do you handle non-dock and inside deliveries?
Yes—liftgate, pallet-jack, and inside delivery can be arranged where available. Please note accessorials and building restrictions up front.

What freight types can you move locally?
Palletized, cartons, floor-loaded (with on-site palletization if needed), and temperature-controlled where listed. Hazmat not offered unless explicitly shown on the Location Card.

How is delivery confirmed?
Every order closes with ePOD (when available) plus photo proof with timestamps/GPS and exception notes—stored in the job file.

Can you set up recurring routes or multi-stop runs?
Yes—daily/weekly schedules and multi-stop manifests with planned ETAs and stop sequencing.

What if my location has limited access or special instructions?
Share gate codes, appointment times, contact names, and restrictions at booking. We’ll align vehicle type and crew accordingly.

How are rates calculated?
By distance/zone, vehicle type, stops, wait/detention, after-hours/holiday service, tolls, and any special equipment/supplies. All charges are shown before you confirm.
